Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Nick’s Handyman & Home Services, doing business as Nick’s Handy (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects through handyman.andrewebs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Last updated: October 23, 2026.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to your request and run our business.

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, request a quote or a call, or contact us by phone, text, email or WhatsApp, you may give us:

  • Your name, phone number and email address
  • Your address or general location, so we can confirm we serve your area
  • The service you are asking about and any details, photos or messages you send us
  • Your communication preferences and any consent you give us

Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, we and our service providers may collect:

  • Your IP address, browser type, device type and operating system
  • Pages you view, links you click, referring website and the date and time of your visit
  • Approximate location based on your IP address
  • Information from cookies and similar technologies (see Section 3)

Information from others. If you contact us through Facebook, Instagram or another platform, including an ad lead form, we receive the details you submit there.

We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers through this website, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal information. Please do not send them to us through the site.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your questions and requests for quotes, estimates or calls
  • Schedule, perform and follow up on our services
  • Communicate with you by phone, text message, WhatsApp or email about your request, appointments and service
  • Improve our website, services and customer experience
  • Measure and run our advertising, including showing ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who may be interested in our services
  • Protect the website and our business against fraud, abuse and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We do not sell your personal information for money.

3. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website uses cookies that are needed to keep it and its contact form working. We may also use analytics and advertising tools. If we do, we will keep this policy up to date, and those tools will work as described below.

Tools we may use include:

  • Essential cookies. Needed for the website and its contact form to function.
  • Analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, which provide statistics about how visitors use the website.
  • Advertising tools, such as the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which tell us when someone who saw or clicked our ad visits our website or submits a form, so we can measure results and show our ads to relevant audiences. Meta may receive your IP address, browser information and the pages you visit, and may use that data under its own privacy policy.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can control how Facebook and Instagram use your data for ads in your Meta ad preferences (facebook.com/adpreferences), and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the website work.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals, and some send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising. Because there is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, our website does not change how it works when it receives one.

4. Calls, text messages and WhatsApp

If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may call you, or send you text or WhatsApp messages, about your quote request, appointments and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We use these channels only to respond to you and manage your service, not for mass marketing.

You can opt out of text and WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop calling or messaging you by contacting us using the details in Section 10.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers that help us run the website and our business, such as website hosting, form and email tools, analytics, scheduling and customer-management software. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising partners, such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, if we use their advertising or analytics tools as described in Section 3. Under some state laws, this may be considered “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 7.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights, safety or property, or to respond to lawful requests.
  • Business transfers, if our business is sold or reorganized, in which case information may be transferred to the new owner.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.

6. Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, such as handling your request, providing service, keeping business records and meeting legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use and share, and ask for a copy
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete personal information we hold about you
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising
  • Not be treated unfairly for exercising your rights

To make a request, email or call us using the details in Section 10. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, and you may use an authorized agent to submit one for you. We will respond within the time required by law, generally within 45 days.

To opt out of targeted advertising, you can send us a request, turn on a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, or adjust your Meta ad preferences as described in Section 3.

California residents. In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of information listed in Section 1 (identifiers, contact details, internet activity and approximate location) for the purposes listed in Section 2, and shared them with the recipients listed in Section 5. We do not sell personal information for money and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may also ask us once a year which categories of personal information we shared with third parties for their direct marketing.

8. Children’s privacy and third-party links

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The website may link to other sites, such as social media pages or maps. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies before sharing information with them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
